15 Feb. 2010: Piribebuy Week #6

Dear Mom and Dad.
 
I had another great Change. I cant believe changes are wendsday this change flew. I dont think anything will happen but puede ser. Tenemos algunas investigadoras muy calidad. No  quirro salir esta area. Creo que no voy a salir. piribebuy es uno de las mas lindo lugares en paraguay. I often see something or meet someone And think I am goig to take mom and Dad Here. I love you very much.

Dear Family and Friends,
 
I am doing well I hadanother good week. We didnt have a baptism again this week andwe only have a possible for this week. We were going to have the baptism of Gaspar the hermano of Christina but we found out saturday that He pretty much wanted to be baptised because Blankitas dad told him about the help from the church. Down here fast offering is a joke. everyone gets help and nobody  understands what it is they act like its a benifit for being a member. so it is frustrating to deal with.  tonight we will find out if Willy can be baptised this week we just met him yesterday but he is ten and goes to church with amember family so he has his asistencia. we just need permision. Nothing really happened  with the other families that we met last week but we found two more this week and so hopefully  they will pull through and progress.- we only had 2 investigators in church but 4 others would have come if the hermana rufina had. We are getting ready to go to asuncion to day for a Zone party at pizza hut. So that will be fun. I am going to send my memorycard home with Elder mccullough from utah. so you will get it next week.  I got the package on tuesday thanks for the letters.

Dear Family and Friends,  I had another great week, we found some good new investigators and brought five of them inchurch,  I feel that the branch is getting better now, we had those first few weeks I was here that were full of so many problems, but I feel that they have strengthened me and the other members of the branch. The attendance is rising weekly. It has been tough for me to come here to amparo and leave all of the people from saldo and the success there but I know that the Lord sent me to Amparo for a reason. I learn alot from elder Roeller hes a good missionary and always positive and animating. I am greatful to finish my mission with him. We had some special changes in our zone and since Wendsday I have been with elder Roeller and Elder Patterson. 6 June 2011: Salado Week #10

Dear Family and Friends,   I am glad to hear that everything went well with the trip to Lake Powell, it sounds like fun.haha. No I had a great week too, we are working hard and I am really enjoying my time with Elder Che. He is a hard worker and has good views on how to work effectivly. We are working most with the members. Last week we made Little sheets that have a scripture and a little note from us that is for references. We havent really recieved one yet but several of the members have invited and are planning for a time that we can go with them to visit. I am excited for it because we really need it we need more investigators. Several of the members are just great there is a Sister Medina that is like 70 years old that is one of my favorites. She has the biggest heart and is just great She broke her arm a coulple months ago so we started visiting her to help her out she also has a 8 year old grandson that is planning on getting baptised here before to long. 16 May 2011: Salado Week #7

Dear Family and Friends,         Thanks for your letters this week. I am doing good and the week passed by really quickly. It is really starting to cool down a bit here in Paraguay so that is nice. It is crazy that it will basically be cool the rest of my mission. We are really excited for Sergio and Ever. Sergio blessed the Sacrament for the first time yesterday and did great! he was also called or assigned to be like an assitant to  the Secretary of the ward So that wil be good. Ever I am sure will bless the sacrament this week to come it is awesome to see that they are getting so involved and and that they are doing so well. Ever got his sister to come which was a great sign for us his family is opening up a lot they still arent progressing really toward baptism but they will come around, His mom is really catholickind of I guess she knows alot and doest really practice any of it.
