15 Mar. 2010: Piribebuy Week #10

Dear Family and Friends,

I am still doing good. We had another good week even though it wasnt as good as last week. We only got one of our investigators in church and the girl Sonia that was supposed to be baptised yesterday hid from us so when we got to chuch I was feeling super bad and tlike we had just failed at everything so i opened randomly my scriptures to Ether 12..6 it made me feel a bit better after chuch we went to itaguyra to talk with sonia and we got everything worked out and she still wants to be baptised we also got to talk with her mom eligia and she actualy just told us that she wanted to get baptised in a few weeks. so that was good we got to talk about that Dad and he is really cool. we are going to focus on teaching him. So really our week was good. We have lots of work to do but I know that the Lord will Bless us as we work hard.

Dear Mom
thanks for the email adress of grandma I will have to send her an email. That is exciting that t' bag is going to the same place as tyler. I acually have two elders in my zone that were in tylers district at the mtc and know him pretty well it was fun to talk about how tyler was in the mtc. But ya I still havent sent  the package the rest of the stuff I want to buy isnt in piribebuy so I want to go to San lorenzo next monday but we will see. what happens.  We get to go to the temple on the 23 of this month so I am excited for that. It has been a while. But  mom thanks so much for your letters and encouragement it means a lot. I love you love Elder Call

Dear Family and Friends,  I had another great week, we found some good new investigators and brought five of them inchurch,  I feel that the branch is getting better now, we had those first few weeks I was here that were full of so many problems, but I feel that they have strengthened me and the other members of the branch. The attendance is rising weekly. It has been tough for me to come here to amparo and leave all of the people from saldo and the success there but I know that the Lord sent me to Amparo for a reason. I learn alot from elder Roeller hes a good missionary and always positive and animating. I am greatful to finish my mission with him. 6 June 2011: Salado Week #10

Dear Family and Friends,   I am glad to hear that everything went well with the trip to Lake Powell, it sounds like fun.haha. No I had a great week too, we are working hard and I am really enjoying my time with Elder Che. He is a hard worker and has good views on how to work effectivly. We are working most with the members. Last week we made Little sheets that have a scripture and a little note from us that is for references. We havent really recieved one yet but several of the members have invited and are planning for a time that we can go with them to visit. I am excited for it because we really need it we need more investigators. Several of the members are just great there is a Sister Medina that is like 70 years old that is one of my favorites. She has the biggest heart and is just great She broke her arm a coulple months ago so we started visiting her to help her out she also has a 8 year old grandson that is planning on getting baptised here before to long. 16 May 2011: Salado Week #7

Dear Family and Friends,         Thanks for your letters this week. I am doing good and the week passed by really quickly. It is really starting to cool down a bit here in Paraguay so that is nice. It is crazy that it will basically be cool the rest of my mission. We are really excited for Sergio and Ever. Sergio blessed the Sacrament for the first time yesterday and did great! he was also called or assigned to be like an assitant to  the Secretary of the ward So that wil be good. Ever I am sure will bless the sacrament this week to come it is awesome to see that they are getting so involved and and that they are doing so well. Ever got his sister to come which was a great sign for us his family is opening up a lot they still arent progressing really toward baptism but they will come around, His mom is really catholickind of I guess she knows alot and doest really practice any of it.
