22 Feb. 2010: Piribebuy Week #7

Dear Family and Friends

Another great week flew by. I didnt change areas but was shocked when I found out that Elder Garcia was moving to Limpio. I wanted another change with him. He was a great companion. He went to Limpio as Zone leader.- And my new Comp Is Elder Fernandez From Buenos Aires He only has 6 months in the mission so we are like the youngest companionship in the mission It is crazy but It is good. we have to really rely on each other- He speaks perfect spanish and english and is a good missionary.- we will learn a lot this change. He comes from a fam of 6. 2 Brothers and a sister. and is the oldest.-

   changes give an opportunity to restart and do things better. we worked hard and were 100% obediant. The Lord blessed us with a baptism and confirmation. I know it was Heavenly Father that helpedus with the baptism because we had had problems with permission but we had a mini miracle and got permision. We also had another little miracle when we were out in part of our area we never go looking for a man that we had a referance for. we were just going from house to house asking for this man- when we met a lady who had just got back from Spain. She was baptised about a year ago in spain but didnt really know the Same church and same missionaries were on the other side of the world in Paraguay. She had all the books and everything and was preparing to go to the temple in Spain.-we talked to her about how the Church was here with a temple too. we found the man too, but i think we received that referance for her because if we hadnt gone she wouldnt have known for a while. I know Heavenly Fathers hand is with us adn his spirit guides us we just have to be obediant.

We had the baptism of David Daniel the 11yr old that was going to get baptised with Blanquita a couple of weeks ago.

to answer you questions. For the dvds take them out of their cases and put them all in one case so it isnt big. I dont need candy I  can buy most everything so donnt send it- I sent my Sd Card With Elder mccoullagh and you should get it this week -. I hope you enjoy the pics.. Go ahead and send another card, and yes I have the pin drive with all my pics.

Dear Family and Friends,  I had another great week, we found some good new investigators and brought five of them inchurch,  I feel that the branch is getting better now, we had those first few weeks I was here that were full of so many problems, but I feel that they have strengthened me and the other members of the branch. The attendance is rising weekly. It has been tough for me to come here to amparo and leave all of the people from saldo and the success there but I know that the Lord sent me to Amparo for a reason. 6 June 2011: Salado Week #10

Dear Family and Friends,   I am glad to hear that everything went well with the trip to Lake Powell, it sounds like fun.haha. No I had a great week too, we are working hard and I am really enjoying my time with Elder Che. He is a hard worker and has good views on how to work effectivly. We are working most with the members. Last week we made Little sheets that have a scripture and a little note from us that is for references. We havent really recieved one yet but several of the members have invited and are planning for a time that we can go with them to visit. I am excited for it because we really need it we need more investigators. Several of the members are just great there is a Sister Medina that is like 70 years old that is one of my favorites. She has the biggest heart and is just great She broke her arm a coulple months ago so we started visiting her to help her out she also has a 8 year old grandson that is planning on getting baptised here before to long. 16 May 2011: Salado Week #7

Dear Family and Friends,         Thanks for your letters this week. I am doing good and the week passed by really quickly. It is really starting to cool down a bit here in Paraguay so that is nice. It is crazy that it will basically be cool the rest of my mission. We are really excited for Sergio and Ever. Sergio blessed the Sacrament for the first time yesterday and did great! he was also called or assigned to be like an assitant to  the Secretary of the ward So that wil be good. Ever I am sure will bless the sacrament this week to come it is awesome to see that they are getting so involved and and that they are doing so well. Ever got his sister to come which was a great sign for us his family is opening up a lot they still arent progressing really toward baptism but they will come around, His mom is really catholickind of I guess she knows alot and doest really practice any of it.
