1 Mar. 2010: Piribebuy Week #8

Family And Friends,
 
I had another good week. We worked hard but friday it started to rain and saturday in continued all the way through saturday night so sunday we couldnt get the culitivo to go to Itaguyra or Cordillera where all of our fechas are. So we didnt have anyone in the capilla so Really all of our eleven fechas fell and now we have to restart.-- Elder Fernandez is ok he is harder to get along with but we will make it through. we Are triing to get things going in piribebuy with the work so we have been doing alot of our contacts here in piribebuy.- It is a lot harder becuase the people are alot harder but it is still good we have found a couple good investigators.- there is a man named Luis gini that we have been teaching- he is really cool- He was a really good soccer player and has been all over the world. which is suprising because he lives in ahumble house and always wants to listen to the message of Christ.  The lady Carmin that was baptised in spain didnt go to church yet because sunday she had to move to her house she was liveing with someone else- but we went sunday and talked. she bore her testimony and prayed. she is a good convert. we are going to  go get her thursday to start the temple prep class that starts thursday.- she wants to go and is excited to go to church.- this week i dont know if we will have a baptism- at least we dont have one planned but we will see what happens. I am heathy and doing well I cant believe it is already march. I love you

Thanks for the letter.-I am well I am going to take some money out again today from my card because I have some stuff I want to send for ben Dallin and hannah and their birthdays I will be late but that is ok. today I am going to TGI fridays- in asuncion to eat with the zone its going to be good- I do have one SD card right now but send me the other back I am glad it got to you well and everything. but mom I love you  I think i will get back on in asuncion to send photos so if you have ?s let me know- Love Elder Call

Dear Family and Friends,  I had another great week, we found some good new investigators and brought five of them inchurch,  I feel that the branch is getting better now, we had those first few weeks I was here that were full of so many problems, but I feel that they have strengthened me and the other members of the branch. The attendance is rising weekly. It has been tough for me to come here to amparo and leave all of the people from saldo and the success there but I know that the Lord sent me to Amparo for a reason. I learn alot from elder Roeller hes a good missionary and always positive and animating. I am greatful to finish my mission with him. We had some special changes in our zone and since Wendsday I have been with elder Roeller and Elder Patterson. 6 June 2011: Salado Week #10

Dear Family and Friends,   I am glad to hear that everything went well with the trip to Lake Powell, it sounds like fun.haha. No I had a great week too, we are working hard and I am really enjoying my time with Elder Che. He is a hard worker and has good views on how to work effectivly. We are working most with the members. Last week we made Little sheets that have a scripture and a little note from us that is for references. We havent really recieved one yet but several of the members have invited and are planning for a time that we can go with them to visit. I am excited for it because we really need it we need more investigators. Several of the members are just great there is a Sister Medina that is like 70 years old that is one of my favorites. She has the biggest heart and is just great She broke her arm a coulple months ago so we started visiting her to help her out she also has a 8 year old grandson that is planning on getting baptised here before to long. 16 May 2011: Salado Week #7

Dear Family and Friends,         Thanks for your letters this week. I am doing good and the week passed by really quickly. It is really starting to cool down a bit here in Paraguay so that is nice. It is crazy that it will basically be cool the rest of my mission. We are really excited for Sergio and Ever. Sergio blessed the Sacrament for the first time yesterday and did great! he was also called or assigned to be like an assitant to  the Secretary of the ward So that wil be good. Ever I am sure will bless the sacrament this week to come it is awesome to see that they are getting so involved and and that they are doing so well. Ever got his sister to come which was a great sign for us his family is opening up a lot they still arent progressing really toward baptism but they will come around, His mom is really catholickind of I guess she knows alot and doest really practice any of it.
