Nov. 18 2009: Last Letter from the USA

Dear Familia
I am doing really well I am super excited and scared to go to paraguay. I hope you have recieved my plans but if not you will soon. I am flying american airlines.And go from here to chicago and have a one hour layover then fly to Miami and have a 4hour layover then fly to Buenos Aires and have a 8 hour layover. then fly to Paraguay. I will get to paraguay at 5 oclock on tuesday. I am in a group that has only elder Dailey in it from my district. It will be nice to travel with him. the others have a 15 hour layover in Buenos aires. so I am glad I only have to wait 8. they have like 42 hours of travelingor more. I leave at 4 in the morning monday. I am so excited.  That bag should work fine its a little big but It will work great. I have wrote in my journal everyday but one. so you dont need to worry. I cant think of any thing I need from you but If you want you could try to get one of those micro fiber towels but if there is no way I under stand. I will be fine with out it but I should have asked earlier. my comp has one and it is sweet. I will call Either from miami or Buenos Aires. I dont know if that card number you are send will work from argentina but if not I can buy one. I hope all is well. I will talk to you on monday night I love you all and apreciate you examples. Dear Family and Friends,  I had another great week, we found some good new investigators and brought five of them inchurch,  I feel that the branch is getting better now, we had those first few weeks I was here that were full of so many problems, but I feel that they have strengthened me and the other members of the branch. The attendance is rising weekly. It has been tough for me to come here to amparo and leave all of the people from saldo and the success there but I know that the Lord sent me to Amparo for a reason. 6 June 2011: Salado Week #10

Dear Family and Friends,   I am glad to hear that everything went well with the trip to Lake Powell, it sounds like fun.haha. No I had a great week too, we are working hard and I am really enjoying my time with Elder Che. He is a hard worker and has good views on how to work effectivly. We are working most with the members. Last week we made Little sheets that have a scripture and a little note from us that is for references. We havent really recieved one yet but several of the members have invited and are planning for a time that we can go with them to visit. I am excited for it because we really need it we need more investigators. Several of the members are just great there is a Sister Medina that is like 70 years old that is one of my favorites. She has the biggest heart and is just great She broke her arm a coulple months ago so we started visiting her to help her out she also has a 8 year old grandson that is planning on getting baptised here before to long. 16 May 2011: Salado Week #7

Dear Family and Friends,         Thanks for your letters this week. I am doing good and the week passed by really quickly. It is really starting to cool down a bit here in Paraguay so that is nice. It is crazy that it will basically be cool the rest of my mission. We are really excited for Sergio and Ever. Sergio blessed the Sacrament for the first time yesterday and did great! he was also called or assigned to be like an assitant to  the Secretary of the ward So that wil be good. Ever I am sure will bless the sacrament this week to come it is awesome to see that they are getting so involved and and that they are doing so well. Ever got his sister to come which was a great sign for us his family is opening up a lot they still arent progressing really toward baptism but they will come around, His mom is really catholickind of I guess she knows alot and doest really practice any of it.
