11 Oct. 2010: Pedro Juan Caballero Week #16

Dear Family and friends,

How are you all doing? It sounds like you are all all pretty busy. The mission is such an awesome experiance I am so excited to here about Davids call.  Does that mission have alot of Wyoming in it?

Paraguay is going great, this week it finally stopped raining so we were able to dry out up a bit. It was a good week but full of challenges but in the end it turned out Ok. We met alot of cool people and had alot of little learning experiences. I am getting along well with my companion and we are working hard. Our awesome investigator Rumilda last night told us that she wouldn't be baptised basically because she didn't want to live the Law of chastity but then thanked and told us that she knew the we taught the truth but just said I cant follow... I felt really bad because we want the best for her. We still will go back to try to help her realize the decision she made and what it means.

We are going to get to go the the temple on Friday which is going to be great after 6 months going to the temple is better than Christmas! Especially for missionaries. We had our interviews with President Madariaga on Saturday, so he was running around Pedro Juan it was nice to have a few minutes with him to learn and grow.

We also got news that transfers will be a week early so I think on the 22 but the thing is there is more than 20 coming and going so ther will be lots of changes but i think i will stay with Elder conder.

Other than that not alot is new so I will let you go but please remember that I love you and that I have a testimony that this is the work of the Lord.

                                           Love Elder Call
