13 Sept. 2010: Pedro Juan Caballero Week #12

Dear Family And Friends,
 
It was great to hear from you. It sounds like every one is busy as normal and doing great. I had a good week too. We didnt have a whole lot happen but did find another investigator that just might be golden! Her name is Rumilda and she lives with an inactivo that wants to reaturn to the church, he has some Drinking problems but loves the Church. Rumilda told us that she wants to help him out and wants to follow Christ. They both came to church on sunday and she has a baptism date for the 9th whisch is looking really good"!
 
As for cristobal he is doing great too and is planning on recieving the Presthood on sunday. As for his family i dont know they are awesome but we are just being patient and working with them the best we can his wife is opening up so much though and I am sure they will all join the church I just dont know when? His son has a Date for the 8th but he is always busy so we will see what happens. 
 
Oh ya we got the news on the changes/transfers my comp Elder Lee is going to the heart of asuncion Like right by the temple and i am recieving a Comp but I dont know any thing about him yet he will get here on wendsday night. I think he has about six months? We have alot of work to do but I am sure it will be a great change. 
 
I am sending some letters home with Elder cox so that you will get them next week- 
 
Other than that Im just loving the mission and learning so much. Dad I did get you request but I am not sure if I will get it done for tomarrow but if not I will send it soon. I know that this is the true chuch and that the lord blesses us so much when we are obediant and diligent. Love you all soo much!!

Dear Family and Friends,  I had another great week, we found some good new investigators and brought five of them inchurch,  I feel that the branch is getting better now, we had those first few weeks I was here that were full of so many problems, but I feel that they have strengthened me and the other members of the branch. The attendance is rising weekly. It has been tough for me to come here to amparo and leave all of the people from saldo and the success there but I know that the Lord sent me to Amparo for a reason. 6 June 2011: Salado Week #10

Dear Family and Friends,   I am glad to hear that everything went well with the trip to Lake Powell, it sounds like fun.haha. No I had a great week too, we are working hard and I am really enjoying my time with Elder Che. He is a hard worker and has good views on how to work effectivly. We are working most with the members. Last week we made Little sheets that have a scripture and a little note from us that is for references. We havent really recieved one yet but several of the members have invited and are planning for a time that we can go with them to visit. I am excited for it because we really need it we need more investigators. Several of the members are just great there is a Sister Medina that is like 70 years old that is one of my favorites. She has the biggest heart and is just great She broke her arm a coulple months ago so we started visiting her to help her out she also has a 8 year old grandson that is planning on getting baptised here before to long. 16 May 2011: Salado Week #7

Dear Family and Friends,         Thanks for your letters this week. I am doing good and the week passed by really quickly. It is really starting to cool down a bit here in Paraguay so that is nice. It is crazy that it will basically be cool the rest of my mission. We are really excited for Sergio and Ever. Sergio blessed the Sacrament for the first time yesterday and did great! he was also called or assigned to be like an assitant to  the Secretary of the ward So that wil be good. Ever I am sure will bless the sacrament this week to come it is awesome to see that they are getting so involved and and that they are doing so well. Ever got his sister to come which was a great sign for us his family is opening up a lot they still arent progressing really toward baptism but they will come around, His mom is really catholickind of I guess she knows alot and doest really practice any of it.
