16 Aug. 2010: Pedro Juan Caballero Week #8 (Justin's Birthday!!)

Dear Family and Friends
 
I have to say I was so happy to hear that James is coming to Paraguay, at first I thought he was coming to my mission then realized that it just didnt say north, but anyway I am stoked, same airport,country, people,money and even city. I just hope I will be able to meet him here but if not I can send letters to him within a week. I Told him it was the best birthday present I could I could have recieved.
 
Thanks for all the letters you sent with pictures and everything. It was fun to see. I had an awesome week too, we did a division with the Zone Leaders and my comp and Elder peterson ended up finding some awesome investigators. We are working Hard with 3 families now and had 2 of them in church. Wehad 8 investigators in church with 4 of them being men.

Alcidez and veronica- they came again and are doing so well they know that the church is true and are still working and the divorce stuff but I hope I can stay until they get baptised because they are future leaders in the church, I wish I could Write all the miracles they have seen and we have seen with them because it has been amazing.
 
The new family Nester and Jilda are a contact that turned out way cool we are teaching them in english because they speak alot and want to learn more but the man is a doctor and the are well off but want to know more about the church he had been doing the geneolagy work in asuncion but then they moved here.l
 
Maura is okay we found out she could get married and so now we just got to get the husband okay with everything and she will be able to be baptised.
 
Eva same boat she is living with a member and wants to get married and baptised too we are helping them plan the day.
 
Gustavo still isnt baptised He wants to wait til next week so he should be good for then
 
But there is a bit of info from the week, My comp. and I are working hard on applying PMG and being obediant It is great we are seeing lot of miracles in the work Tell james to write me an email on anything He wants to know about paraguay and send it to me.  Other than that Take care, Nice job on the Fishin trip By the way.

Mom, There is one thing I really want but I forgot if I already asked for it... I want Pics of My baptism I dont know what you have but anything, I think you could just Scan them and send them if not make copies. But thats it Thanks.
I love you tons sorry not everyone got letters with card But you will have to let james see all my pics.

Dear Family and Friends,  I had another great week, we found some good new investigators and brought five of them inchurch,  I feel that the branch is getting better now, we had those first few weeks I was here that were full of so many problems, but I feel that they have strengthened me and the other members of the branch. The attendance is rising weekly. It has been tough for me to come here to amparo and leave all of the people from saldo and the success there but I know that the Lord sent me to Amparo for a reason. 6 June 2011: Salado Week #10

Dear Family and Friends,   I am glad to hear that everything went well with the trip to Lake Powell, it sounds like fun.haha. No I had a great week too, we are working hard and I am really enjoying my time with Elder Che. He is a hard worker and has good views on how to work effectivly. We are working most with the members. Last week we made Little sheets that have a scripture and a little note from us that is for references. We havent really recieved one yet but several of the members have invited and are planning for a time that we can go with them to visit. I am excited for it because we really need it we need more investigators. Several of the members are just great there is a Sister Medina that is like 70 years old that is one of my favorites. She has the biggest heart and is just great She broke her arm a coulple months ago so we started visiting her to help her out she also has a 8 year old grandson that is planning on getting baptised here before to long. 16 May 2011: Salado Week #7

Dear Family and Friends,         Thanks for your letters this week. I am doing good and the week passed by really quickly. It is really starting to cool down a bit here in Paraguay so that is nice. It is crazy that it will basically be cool the rest of my mission. We are really excited for Sergio and Ever. Sergio blessed the Sacrament for the first time yesterday and did great! he was also called or assigned to be like an assitant to  the Secretary of the ward So that wil be good. Ever I am sure will bless the sacrament this week to come it is awesome to see that they are getting so involved and and that they are doing so well. Ever got his sister to come which was a great sign for us his family is opening up a lot they still arent progressing really toward baptism but they will come around, His mom is really catholickind of I guess she knows alot and doest really practice any of it.
