21 June 2010: Aregua cerca Luque Week #12

Dear Family and Friends,

How are you all doing? Thanks for the letters this week. I again had an awesome week and feel like every day we have been recieving way more blessing than we ever deserve. All I can say is that I know heavenly Father watches over us every day.
On saturday we were walking down the road when a lady turned and asked ¿Ustedes hablan castillano? or Do you guys speak spanish? and so of coarse we were like Ya, anyway she then ask if we were the ones that got robbed and we were like Ya that was us then she said well I have some books of yours that I found in the jungle. We were like REALLY any way to make along story short she had found Elder Eliason Triple and some pamplets, So he got his triple back. She said most people were telling her that sphe better just burn it all so that no one would blame her for being the robber. We thanked her and some time this week we will pass by again to teackçh her something but who knows my comp was greatful for his stuff back.
Sunday wpas another one of those crazy days. With it being fathers day  and also Paraguay playing in the world cup sunday morning during church and with it raining it was a bit hard to get people to come to church but again we were super blessed and had eleven. some of our investigators are absolutly awesome. We have been teaching a Lady named Elena her daughter named Daisy 13, her son named Maudisio 8 and another daughter named Clara 6. They are the cutest family ever. Daisy and maudisio will get baptised on the 2 and the mom soon after. They already know so much about the Gospel and absolutly love it. Also the Family of 12 is doing great too, not all of them could come to church yesterday but about 5 did and everyone is planning on it next sunday.
Changes are Wendsday and I am sure I willl get Anew comp but I am not sure what will happen. President Wade goes home on the 30th so that is crazy two. I am sad that he is leaving, he has been an awesome president.

Hey mom,

I got my package and have already made pancakes so thanks for that. I also got my hair cut.  but you should be getting my package within the next week or two also an sd Card of pics that is separate. I sent a hand written letter to robles´s too all in spanish so they should get that soon too.

As for you other questions I dont think I will need any more money pulled out for a while but we will see. My camera is a Cannon it is really cool my favorite part is the recargeable battery so I dont have to buy AAs the rest of the mission.

Dear Family and Friends,  I had another great week, we found some good new investigators and brought five of them inchurch,  I feel that the branch is getting better now, we had those first few weeks I was here that were full of so many problems, but I feel that they have strengthened me and the other members of the branch. The attendance is rising weekly. It has been tough for me to come here to amparo and leave all of the people from saldo and the success there but I know that the Lord sent me to Amparo for a reason. I learn alot from elder Roeller hes a good missionary and always positive and animating. I am greatful to finish my mission with him. 6 June 2011: Salado Week #10

Dear Family and Friends,   I am glad to hear that everything went well with the trip to Lake Powell, it sounds like fun.haha. No I had a great week too, we are working hard and I am really enjoying my time with Elder Che. He is a hard worker and has good views on how to work effectivly. We are working most with the members. Last week we made Little sheets that have a scripture and a little note from us that is for references. We havent really recieved one yet but several of the members have invited and are planning for a time that we can go with them to visit. I am excited for it because we really need it we need more investigators. Several of the members are just great there is a Sister Medina that is like 70 years old that is one of my favorites. She has the biggest heart and is just great She broke her arm a coulple months ago so we started visiting her to help her out she also has a 8 year old grandson that is planning on getting baptised here before to long. 16 May 2011: Salado Week #7

Dear Family and Friends,         Thanks for your letters this week. I am doing good and the week passed by really quickly. It is really starting to cool down a bit here in Paraguay so that is nice. It is crazy that it will basically be cool the rest of my mission. We are really excited for Sergio and Ever. Sergio blessed the Sacrament for the first time yesterday and did great! he was also called or assigned to be like an assitant to  the Secretary of the ward So that wil be good. Ever I am sure will bless the sacrament this week to come it is awesome to see that they are getting so involved and and that they are doing so well. Ever got his sister to come which was a great sign for us his family is opening up a lot they still arent progressing really toward baptism but they will come around, His mom is really catholickind of I guess she knows alot and doest really practice any of it.
