23 Aug. 2010: Pedro Juan Caballero Week #9

Dear Family and Friends,
 
Thank you for you letters I love getting them every week especially with the pictures of my baptism. I wanted them to show people when and where I got baptised.
 
Anyway it sounded like every one is doing great. I had another good week My comp and I were both sick with sinus colds like the whole week but we are better now,. at least almost. we are having a great experiance here in Pedro Juan. I have never seen so many awsome investigator in my whole mission. We had several in church and will finally baptise gustavo on saturday! The other that is progressing super fast is Christaphor his fecha is for Dads Birthday. I am not sure if he will be ready but we will see.
 
My trainer Elder Job went home this week so I can count myself kind of older in the mission. It is crazy how fast the mission is flying by.
 
Other news is that we are working now with 5 couples that want to get married and baptised., We have tons of work to get them all taught and ready. There should be 12 baptisms more, but we had sacrament out there and 59 came to church which is double what we have here in Rama 4 so we are excited to be working with them.
 
I am so blessed to have this opportunity to serve the lord. I have seen so many miracles and I know that God hears and anwsers prayers.

Dear Family and Friends,  I had another great week, we found some good new investigators and brought five of them inchurch,  I feel that the branch is getting better now, we had those first few weeks I was here that were full of so many problems, but I feel that they have strengthened me and the other members of the branch. The attendance is rising weekly. It has been tough for me to come here to amparo and leave all of the people from saldo and the success there but I know that the Lord sent me to Amparo for a reason. 6 June 2011: Salado Week #10

Dear Family and Friends,   I am glad to hear that everything went well with the trip to Lake Powell, it sounds like fun.haha. No I had a great week too, we are working hard and I am really enjoying my time with Elder Che. He is a hard worker and has good views on how to work effectivly. We are working most with the members. Last week we made Little sheets that have a scripture and a little note from us that is for references. We havent really recieved one yet but several of the members have invited and are planning for a time that we can go with them to visit. I am excited for it because we really need it we need more investigators. Several of the members are just great there is a Sister Medina that is like 70 years old that is one of my favorites. She has the biggest heart and is just great She broke her arm a coulple months ago so we started visiting her to help her out she also has a 8 year old grandson that is planning on getting baptised here before to long. 16 May 2011: Salado Week #7

Dear Family and Friends,         Thanks for your letters this week. I am doing good and the week passed by really quickly. It is really starting to cool down a bit here in Paraguay so that is nice. It is crazy that it will basically be cool the rest of my mission. We are really excited for Sergio and Ever. Sergio blessed the Sacrament for the first time yesterday and did great! he was also called or assigned to be like an assitant to  the Secretary of the ward So that wil be good. Ever I am sure will bless the sacrament this week to come it is awesome to see that they are getting so involved and and that they are doing so well. Ever got his sister to come which was a great sign for us his family is opening up a lot they still arent progressing really toward baptism but they will come around, His mom is really catholickind of I guess she knows alot and doest really practice any of it.
