25 July 2011: Salado Week #16

Dear Family and Friends,

Thank you for the letters and pictures. It looks like you had a great time there in martins cove.,It sounds like you are having a great summer, The house looks great and the grass is tall. ahaha.

I had an awesome week again. Really we are receiving so many blessings from the Lord I  have never met such prepared people. to receive the gospel in all of my mission, On sunday Angelica and Evers mom Nilda came to church they are looking really good for baptism and are really excited about being members of the church. Another blessing is the Second counsler hired Evers Dad to help him in construction and they started today it will give them the oppurtunity to become friends and talk about the church.
We are also working with a new family infact we are going to go help them move once we get done writing these letters. The dad is a less active member, that has recently come back to church with is wife that isnt a member., we havent really started teaching yet but she has been to church twice now and we will start teaching. today.

Juan is doing great blessing the sacrament and they are planning on going to the Temple on Thursday and it will be the first time for both Juan and Adry. They always come back with a special spirit and a strengthened testimony.

Ever decided to play a joke on me and tell me that he wasn't going to go to church any more and that he was going to go inactive for a couple of months,. I was shocked and didn't know what to tell him, We ended up teaching him 2 nephi 32:9 and telling him to pray and ask God what to do. I was very sad. He didn't tell me he was joking for like three hours when his mom called me and told me she was very worried for him and his decision. We went back over to talk with her and he was still playing the joke then we went over to Sergio's house and there he told us he was just joking and laughed at me for almost crying,.

I love them so much I know that the best thing they could ever be doing is what they are doing, Following the example of Jesus Christ. It makes me so happy to see them together make decicions that will continue to bless their life and the lives of many others.

On thursday we had interviews and a training meeting. It was my last normal interview and I had a good talk with president and learned alot. Elder Che and I are doing well together  he is a great companion and I am learning lots from him,.
I know we are members of the true church. I know that Heavenly father hears and anwsers prayers. He loves eache and every one of us.

I sent a letter and a SD Card of pictures that you should be getting within a couple of weeks. I cant remember when i sent it but it has been about two weeks. So just let me know when you get it.

                                                                Love Elder Call
