27 Dec. 2010: Mariano Roca Lonzo Week #10

Dear Family and Friends

The phone call was great it was so much fun to talk to everyone and hear your voices and see how you are all doiing Thanks for that! I honestly felt so good afterward, (just flet like working harder) You are all great examples to me. I was fun to hear about those who have and are getting married too(blows my mind to think of marraige) thank goodness I dont Have to for a while.haha.-

This week was good it is kind of a tough week for teaching about Jesus though believe it or not because here Christmas mostly means Parties, Fireworks, beer and Loud music. So nothing like at home. Its just hard to find people that dont drink.

Other than that every thing is going well we are have a few challanges with some members that are starting to tip the can again and investigator that wont give it up...but just keep praying. We do have a lot of good investigators and I think after the new year it we get even better.,

My companion and I are doing great Like I was telling you I have had great comps my whole mission sometimes it has taken a little longer to realize how much I like some of them but as time goes I learn the things I learned from each one, Infact Elder Lee went home today.

You will have to remind me what you each got for Christmas especially Hannah and Evan because I didnt even remember to ask you.

The heat is impressive today we were in Asuncion at a ChineseRestaurant that is actually in James mission but is was a fun Zone activity. Any way it was 104 degrees standing on the street. I sweat so much. Our house is another story it is litterally an oven I usually take cold showers with my garments on. then try to sleep infront of the fan. Rather tha wetting the bed I usually sweat the bed.

I think we will be another week before we see a baptism. I did get news though that a family that I found with Elder Conder two weeks before I left Pedro Juan got baptised yesterday which made me feel good That all the contacts we did were for a reason. Sometimes as individuals we dont see the blessing that we recieve in the momment but the work is true and Heavenly Father always blesses us. I am so greatful to be here in paraguay serving these people!

Take Care and have a Happy New Year. Ilove you all
