30 May 2011: Salado Week #9

Dear Family and friends,

This was an exciting week, we had changes! and my new companion Elder Che XOL is from Guatemala, he is really cool and is a hard worker. His first language isnt spanish so he is also learning, He speaks Maya which is cool  but I still havent learned any.  it seems legit. I am excited to work with him I think we will get along great. He is the frirst misionary in his family he has one older brother that didnt serve. His whole family are member though and I guess his grandpa was one of the first In their area.

Elder Scovill went to San Lorenzo, he was a good comp I learned a lot from him. I am pretty sure he doesnt like me very much but I hope he was able to learn somthing too.

As for me I am doing great the area is doing good too and I am excited for the times to come. We are still bouncing around with the little problems and challanges but I am sure things will get better.  Elder Che knows alot about working with members and working through problems because his home ward is just a branch and he was like the ward mission leader and secretary. The members seemto be excited to have him too .

Ever was suppose to give a talk in sacrament but decided he wasnt ready and kindof backed out. we tried to help him but he did want to do it yet so he didnt go to church it kind of hurt us because it made it so noone that is progressing with him went to church but we taught a good lesson after wards and they all committed to come this sunday., I love this work! I know its true I hope all is well, and love you all. Love Elder Call
