6 Sept. 2010: Pedro Juan Caballero Week #11

Dear Family and Friends,
 
I had another great week in Pedro Juan Caballero or as Cristobal would say especial. Really it was just that! The Baptism of Cristobal happened on Friday night it was the most spiritual baptism that I have been in so far. The neat thing is that there were seven investigators present, mostly his Family including his mom, wife, son, 2daughters, and son in law. Which are all catholics but after the baptism his mom got up and gave him a hug she was crying along with everyone else his wife did the same thing. There was no doubt that they felt the spirit and knew it was true. It was a moment I wish I could Catch or pause and just stay there and remember it forever. 
 
He beared his testimony after his confermation on sunday in Fast and Testimony He talked about how several years ago he prayed to ask god to help him get his wood working buisness going and how he promised that he would find an organization where he could follow God in the true way. He continued talking about how we arrived at his door teach about the Book of Mormon and him knowing that it was true.,As a missionary nothing makes you feel better to see and hear what we did with Cristobal. The Work Continues.....
 
His mom also told us of A Dream she had that was absolutly amazing, where she was walking down a new path that was white and Clean as she walked she Saw her son ahead of her in white waiting for her...... She realized at the baptism why! We havent been able to talk to her much though because she lives a little out side of our area but I know that the work is true that God is a God of Miracles and that if we pray with faith He will anwser our Prayers. 
 
I wish I could tell you all the miracles and experiances that I have Seen But I am Trying to copy them in My journal so that you can some day. 
 
This next week is changes I think on the 15 so it will be crazy I have no Idea what will happen But I am sure there will be Changes. I love you all so much . Love Elder Call

btw, It has been cold and yes I used all the warm clothes I had several day but now it is starting to warm up alot. Thanks for the Package I havent got the second one yet.
 
Also Happy B'day Dad Sorry I am late but I did know I just forgot to write it, Did you Do anything special.
 
As for Christmas I dont know maybe a Tie?

Dear Family and Friends,  I had another great week, we found some good new investigators and brought five of them inchurch,  I feel that the branch is getting better now, we had those first few weeks I was here that were full of so many problems, but I feel that they have strengthened me and the other members of the branch. The attendance is rising weekly. It has been tough for me to come here to amparo and leave all of the people from saldo and the success there but I know that the Lord sent me to Amparo for a reason. 6 June 2011: Salado Week #10

Dear Family and Friends,   I am glad to hear that everything went well with the trip to Lake Powell, it sounds like fun.haha. No I had a great week too, we are working hard and I am really enjoying my time with Elder Che. He is a hard worker and has good views on how to work effectivly. We are working most with the members. Last week we made Little sheets that have a scripture and a little note from us that is for references. We havent really recieved one yet but several of the members have invited and are planning for a time that we can go with them to visit. I am excited for it because we really need it we need more investigators. Several of the members are just great there is a Sister Medina that is like 70 years old that is one of my favorites. She has the biggest heart and is just great She broke her arm a coulple months ago so we started visiting her to help her out she also has a 8 year old grandson that is planning on getting baptised here before to long. 16 May 2011: Salado Week #7

Dear Family and Friends,         Thanks for your letters this week. I am doing good and the week passed by really quickly. It is really starting to cool down a bit here in Paraguay so that is nice. It is crazy that it will basically be cool the rest of my mission. We are really excited for Sergio and Ever. Sergio blessed the Sacrament for the first time yesterday and did great! he was also called or assigned to be like an assitant to  the Secretary of the ward So that wil be good. Ever I am sure will bless the sacrament this week to come it is awesome to see that they are getting so involved and and that they are doing so well. Ever got his sister to come which was a great sign for us his family is opening up a lot they still arent progressing really toward baptism but they will come around, His mom is really catholickind of I guess she knows alot and doest really practice any of it.
